Put a ring on it

“He’s just bought me an eternity ring!” exclaimed one of our guests on returning from a very fruitful stroll around the Jewellery Quarter.

There is so much to see and do in the Jewellery Quarter, we sometimes forget that it is the centre of gravity for brides to be, singletons and already-marrieds who are perhaps looking for a bit of bling.

With the biggest Assay Office in the world, it’s not difficult to see why sparkle-seekers flock to Birmingham when it comes to those special purchases.

Compact, with lots of great coffee shops, you can meander around in a few hours before making that all important purchase. However, it would be easy to feel over-whelmed in your very first or even second shop and miss out on everything else the place has to offer.

Why not do a bit of digging before you arrive so you know where to go if you’re looking for diamonds, the price you might be able to get if you’re trading in your own piece, or you know where to go for a custom-made item.
